Abstract:
A method for allocating computational resources of a processor, comprising: detecting current processor load (S102); determining required computational resources according to the processor load, the computational resources comprising a sum of frequency values of each processor core (S104); obtaining power values of prior processor cores at particular frequency values, and determining the number of processor cores and the frequency value of each processor core according to the power values of the prior processor cores at the particular frequency values, so that the sum of the frequency values of each processor core accords with the computational resources and the sum of the power values of each processor core is minimum (S106). By means of the method, the power consumption of a terminal can be reduced.
