Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and a device for text enhancement. According to a preset background template, executing a background test on a document; according to the test result, executing differentiation of pixels of the document to obtain a background and a text field; recognizing pixels of the text field as black text on a white background or white text on a black background; executing text enhancement on the pixels of the black text on a white background or the white text on a black background obtained by the recognition process to obtain a text-enhanced document. Thus, effective recognition is realized on a document background. After elimination or fading of the background, the black text on white background or white text on black background is enhanced to improve text resolution of the document for printing.
