Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THERMALLY AFTERBURNING EXHAUST AIR LOADED WITH OXIDIZABLE SUBSTANCES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/004010
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for thermally cleaning an exhaust air stream (Ro) loaded with oxidizable substances, wherein the exhaust air stream (Ro), loaded with oxidizable substances, is passed as a heat-absorbing material flow through a recuperative heat exchanger (W, W '), wherein the oxidizable substances are oxidized at least partially in an exothermic reaction and the exhaust air stream (Ro) is heated additionally. The heated exhaust air stream ((Re), at least partially purified oxidatively in this way, is passed once again through the at least one recuperative heat exchanger unit (Wr Wf) and, at the same time, activation energy for the exothermic reaction is provided. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for thermal purification of an exhaust air stream (Ro), loaded with oxidizable substances, and to a plant for coating and / or drying of sheet-shaped material.
