Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for transmitting data. The method comprises: a first terminal device receiving, on a broadcast channel, a broadcast message transmitted by a second terminal device; the first terminal device transmitting, on the broadcast channel, a first acknowledgement message to the second terminal device, the first acknowledgement message being a response message indicating successful reception of the broadcast message by the first terminal device; upon confirming that the broadcast message carries first data, the first terminal device acquiring the first data carried by the broadcast message; and the first terminal device submitting the first data to a corresponding application server. Use of the method and device of the present invention can reduce signaling overheads of a device.
