Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and a device for transmitting and receiving a broadcast signal for synchronization of a video and subtitles in a trick play service. The broadcast signal reception method, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving at least one video packet including video data and at least one subtitle packet including subtitle data, wherein the video packet and the subtitle packet include display time information indicating a display time of data included in each packet; decoding the received video packet and subtitle packet; synchronizing the display times of the decoded video packet and subtitle packet by using the display time information; and displaying the video data included in the synchronized video packet and the subtitle data included in the subtitle packet.
