The present invention relates to a method and a device for transmitting and receiving an Enhanced Physical Downlink Control Channel (EPDCCH) in a common search area. According to one embodiment, the method for transmitting an EPDCCH comprises: a step of transmitting, to a terminal, a Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH) including a bitmap, which indicates a common search area for the EPDCCH in a resource block group, or combination index information; and a step of transmitting the EPDCCH to the terminal through the common search area.
