Abstract:
According to an example disclosed herein, an operation method of a terminal comprises the steps of: receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message, including sounding configuration information, from a base station; transmitting a first sounding reference signal (SRS) to the base station on the basis of the received sounding configuration information; and transmitting a second SRS to the base station via an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) on the basis of the received sounding configuration information. The base station estimates channels on the basis of the first SRS and the second SRS. The second SRS is transmitted periodically, and the channel estimation is based on the period of the second SRS.
