Abstract:
The disclosure provides a method and device for upgrading a Zigbee device. The method comprises: downloading the latest version of a firmware from a server when a Zigbee device needs to upgrade the firmware; pushing the downloaded latest version of the firmware to the Zigbee device; and delivering a firmware upgrade instruction to the Zigbee device when the latest version of the firmware is successfully pushed to the Zigbee device, so as to trigger the Zigbee device to execute firmware upgrading on the basis of the latest version of the firmware. The disclosure can achieve, in the background and without alerting a user, downloading of the latest version of a firmware and executing of firmware upgrading on the basis of the latest version of the firmware, thereby helping to improve user experience.
