Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and device for use in accessing a container. The method comprises: receiving a container access request, the container access request being used for requesting access to a target container; selecting a driver instance corresponding to the target container from multiple driver instances currently running, different driver instances of the multiple driver instances being used for driving different types of containers, and the multiple driver instances being managed via a same program; and transmitting the container access request to the driver instance corresponding to the target container. In the solution, by managing with one program the driver instances used for driving the different types of containers, a user is allowed to access different types of containers via one program, the management of different driver instances and the accessing of different types of containers via different programs in the prior art are obviated, and the running overheads for programs managing multiple driver instances in a container engine are reduced.
