Abstract:
The present application provides a method and device used for measurement, said method comprising: a terminal device receiving N SMTCs from a network device; according to M SMTCs among the N SMTCs, obtaining M measurement intervals, wherein N and M are positive integers, and M is less than or equal to N. By means of determining the measurement interval from the SMTCs, it is possible to ensure that the measurement interval can cover the measurement window indicated by the SMTC. In addition, since the measurement interval can be determined from the SMTCs, the network device may not need to issue additional measurement interval configuration information, thus signaling can be conserved.
