Abstract:
A method and device for wireless terminal management. The method comprises: using a wireless router to send an acknowledgement packet to a wireless terminal, wherein the acknowledgement packet is used for determining whether the wireless terminal is off-line; the wireless router determining whether the wireless terminal is off-line according to whether a reply packet sent by the wireless terminal according to the acknowledgement packet is received; and in the case of determining that the wireless terminal is off-line, the wireless router removing the wireless terminal. The abnormal off-line state of a wireless terminal can be monitored in time, and the terminal can be removed, so that the terminal does not occupy a network resource, and does not affect the surfing experience of the other wireless terminals, thereby providing good experience for a user.
