Abstract:
Methods and devices for measuring length are made available. In this context, a light beam (10) is detected after passing at least once through a section to be measured, a phase angle of the detected light beam is determined through comparison with a reference (12), a length of the section is determined as a function of the phase angle, and correction is carried out as a function of an amplitude of the detected light beam.
