Abstract:
Provided are a method for diagnosing remaining life before short circuiting of power distribution equipment and a system for diagnosing remaining life before short circuiting of power distribution equipment that make it possible to accurately diagnose the remaining life before short circuiting of power distribution equipment including insulation. The method is provided with a step S10 for deriving, on the basis of a derived time-dependent equation, a first time-dependent curve for the surface variation rate of the insulation resulting from environmental factors, a step S15 for deriving, on the basis of a calculated nitrate ion attachment amount resulting from discharge, a nitrate ion attachment amount resulting from the environment, a sulfate ion attachment amount, and an insulation color parameter, a second time-dependent curve for the surface resistance rate of the insulation caused by discharge-related factors, and a step S16 for calculating, on the basis of the second time-dependent curve, the remaining life before short circuiting from a calculated surface resistance rate of the insulation and a predetermined short circuiting threshold.
