Abstract:
A method for disassembling heavy-water reactor equipment comprises the steps of: opening the upper part of a calandria vault; supporting a main shell of a calandria by inserting a support device into the calandria vault through the upper part of the calandria vault; cutting the main shell of the calandria off from a sub-shell by inserting a cutting device into the calandria vault through the upper part of the calandria vault; and withdrawing the main shell of the calandria to the outside of the calandria vault by moving the support device to the outside from the inside of the calandria vault through the upper part thereof.
