Title:
METHOD FOR DISCHARGING WASTE GAS FROM SUBMARINES WITHOUT A SIGNATURE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2002046034
Kind Code:
B1
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a device for the signature-free discharging of the submarine waste gas that is produced in energy converters in conjunction with the generation of electric energy. Said waste gas is guided by pressure into a pipeline through which water from outside the vessel flows. The resulting gas bubbles are reduced by static mixers which are located inside the pipeline through which water is flowing. The strong turbulence in the liquid causes the gas to dissolve. Since the waste gas is dissolved inside the submarine, no localizable gas bubbles appear outside of the vessel. The working pressure for the method is the same as the submerging pressure, which means that energy consumption is low.
