Abstract:
A method for discovering a device in a mesh network. After having received request frames sent by a large number of first devices, a second device sends a reply frame m times in a broadcasting manner, the time interval being n, and after receiving the reply frame, the first device establishes a mutual discovery relationship with the second device. In the event of an extremely large number of devices in the mesh network, the present invention greatly improves the probability of discovery between devices, and effectively suppresses the network storm, enabling the mesh network to maintain a good network performance.
