Abstract:
The aim of the invention is to improve hygiene in medicine, especially with respect to CPAP and breathing apparatuses. This is achieved by exposing the air which is to be inhaled by a patient to electromagnetic radiation, whereby bacteria and germs are heated and subsequently destroyed.
