Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for displaying a cooking product or cooking program selection during at least part of a cooking process taking place in a cooking compartment of a cooking appliance, said cooking process being determined by a plurality of cooking programs which are at least temporarily executed in parallel in the cooking compartment. In said method, at least one variable that is characteristic of the atmosphere in the cooking compartment during the cooking process is determined taking into account each change in at least one first parameter characteristic of the cooking compartment being loaded with cooking product during the cooking process if the cooking product selection is displayed or each change in at least one second parameter characteristic of cooking programs at least temporarily executed in parallel in the cooking compartment during the cooking process if the cooking program selection is displayed, and the display of the cooking product or cooking program selection is adjusted to each change in said variable. The invention also relates to a cooking appliance for carrying out said method.
