Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a method of displaying a graphic user interface and a mobile terminal comprising a touch screen and a camera. The touch screen of the mobile terminal comprises a first screen area and a second screen area, wherein the first screen area is a rectangular area, and the second screen area is an area of the touch screen extending from the first screen area to the periphery of the camera. The mobile terminal displays an application interface of a first application in the first screen area. When a second application has a notification, the mobile terminal displays the notification in the second screen area. When a first touch operation performed for the notification is detected, the mobile terminal continues to display the application interface of the first application in the first screen area and displays an application interface of the second application related to the notification on the application interface of the first application. The present application enhances the diverse interaction function of a mobile terminal, simplifies the operation process of a user, and improves the user experience.
