Abstract:

The invention relates to the field of a network technology, and in particular, to a method of displaying network status information and device utilizing the same. The method comprises: obtaining real-time frequency band occupancy information of each of frequency band occupancy items of a router apparatus, wherein the frequency band occupancy items comprises a network service on the router apparatus and at least one electronic apparatus accessing the router apparatus; generating, according to the real-time frequency band occupancy information of each of the frequency band occupancy items of the router apparatus, network status information of the router apparatus; and transmitting, to a designated apparatus, the network status information of the router apparatus, to enable the designated apparatus to display the network status information. The router apparatus of the invention computes a statistics of frequency bands being used so as to obtain network status information representing real-time frequency band occupancy, and then provides the network status information to a terminal, enabling network status transparency, and preventing misleading a network user.
