The present invention relates to a technology for displaying a program guide, and particularly, to a technology for displaying a program guide that provides a guide menu for selecting a date, time, and channel, in order to enable access to program information by channel and broadcast time and program schedule information for certain channels simply via a simple manipulation. The method for displaying a program guide according to the present invention, which collects broadcast program information from a broadcast signal and processes the collected broadcast program information to provide a program guide, comprises the steps of: (a) providing a guide menu for selecting a date, time, and channel; (b) when a certain date and time are selected from the guide menu, extracting channel information, program information, and broadcast time information corresponding to the selected date and time from the collected broadcast program information, and processing and providing a program list by channel on the basis of the broadcast time; and (c) when a certain channel number is selected from the guide menu, extracting program schedule information corresponding to the selected channel number from the collected broadcast program information, and processing and providing a program schedule list on the basis of the channel.
