Abstract:
A technique of dissolving, for isolation into the deep sea, a carbon dioxide gas in a waste gas containing carbon dioxide exhausted in large quantities from a fixed generating source such as a thermal power plant, for preventing a global warming. A device which is provided with a container installed in the sea or on the water surface or in the vicinity thereof, and a means opened at the lower end, for blowing a gas containing a water-soluble gas, and which comprises a short-leg pipe functioning as a dissolving pipe and a long-leg pipe opened at the lower end and functioning as a precipitating pipe, wherein the short-leg pipe and the long-leg pipe are connected together via the container to disperse an undissolved gas into the air or into the sea from the liquid surface in the container.
