Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and system for distributed information processing using a dataflow graph (50), the method comprises distributing a dataflow graph (50) to an infrastructure (1) comprising infrastructure nodes (6) and infrastructure edges (8) between the infrastructure nodes (6). The method comprises segmenting the dataflow graph (50) into dataflow sub-graphs and defining a pre-determined infrastructure (1) having two or more infrastructure nodes (6) and at least one infrastructure edge (8) between the infrastructure nodes (6). The method further comprises projecting the dataflow sub-graphs to the pre-determined infrastructure (1) by distributing the dataflow sub-graphs to the infrastructure nodes (6) and infrastructure edges (8) and executing the dataflow graph (50) by utilizing a communication protocol over the infrastructure edges (8) between the infrastructure nodes (6) in the execution of the dataflow graph (50) and executing the distributed dataflow sub-graphs in the infrastructure nodes (6).
