Abstract:
The invention relates to measurement techniques and can be used for automatic division of tanks at gas stations and tank farms. The inventive method for the division of tanks comprises the following steps: initial data and operating conditions are inputted into the computing unit; the tank is filled up to a predetermined level and tank division is calculated taking into account the filling temperature of the filling liquid in the fuel pump in a normal mode of dispensing oil products to consumers, while dispensing is performed at time intervals allowing for the quieting of the liquid being dispensed. The sensors of the level detector included in the tank division graduation device are installed at a fixed level in the tank and separated by steps comprised between 10 and 40 mm.
