Abstract:
The method of docking of double-hull floating devices, especially double-hull ships, characterised in that floating docks (1) and (2) are situated approximately parallel in the proper distance form each other, from which favourably at least one are founded on dolphins or mooring sinkers then are lateral coupled together with stern articulated connector (6) and bow articulated connector (7) mounted into side walls (9) of floating docks (1) and (2) and coupled longitudinally together by springs (8), then, after submersion onto required depth of both coupled floating docks (1) and (2), docked double-hull ship are introduced into, in the way that one of the hulls (3) are on the keel blocks and/or supports (5) in one of floating docks (1), and second hull (4) in the second floating dock (2), after that both coupled together floating docks (1) and (2) are emerged with docked double­hull ship. Parallel emerging of the floating docks (1) and (2), with the, application of independent ballast systems of both docks (1) and (2), is carried out by maintaining their mutual location in the way that the upper edges of keel blocks and/or supports (5) on both docks, of which placing on one plane is represented by zero signs (14) mounted to side walls (9) of floating docks (1) and (2), separate control strips (12) and (13), mounted on the bow and stern observation posts, on the platforms (10) and (11) and switched over between the side walls (9) of floating docks (1) and (2), are placed , in such a way that the distance between upper surfaces of keel blocks or supports (5) on both docks (1) and (2) does not exceed acceptable displacements mapped on the control strips (12) and (13) by accepted deviation signs (15).

Claims:
CLAIMS
1. The method of docking of doublehull floating devices, especially doublehull ships, is characterised in that the floating docks (1) and (2) are situated approximately parallel and with the proper distance form each other, from which favourably at least one are founded on dolphins or mooring sinkers, then they are laterally coupled together with stern articulated connector (6) and bow articulated connector (7) mounted into the side walls (9) of the floating docks (1) and (2) and coupled longitudinally together by springs (8), and then after submersion onto the required depth of both coupled together floating docks (1) and (2), the docked doublehull ship is brought into, in the way that one of the. hulls (3) is on the keel<BR> blocks and/or supports (5) in one of Boating docks (1), and the second hull (4) in the second floating dock (2), and then after that at the same time both coupled together floating docks (1) and (2) are emerged with the docked doublehull ship.

The method according to the claim 1, characterised in that the parallel emerging of the floating docks (1) and (2), with the application of independent ballast systems of both docks (1) and (2), is carried out by maintaining their mutual location in the way that the upper edges of keel blocks and/or supports (5) on both docks, of which placing on one plane is represented by zero signs (14) mounted to side walls (9) of floating docks (1) and (2), separate control strips (12) and (13), mounted on the bow and the stem observation posts, on the platforms (10) and (11) and switched over betweensidewalls (9). ofLuieLBoatingdocks (1and (2), are placed in such a way that the distance between the upper surfaces of keel blocks and/or supports (5) on both docks (1) and (2) does not exceed acceptable displacements mapped on the control strips (12) and (13) by accepted deviation signs (15).
3. The method according to the claim 1, is characterised in that while docking the position of the upper edges planes of keel blocks and/or supports (5) of both floating docks (1) and (2) is continually controlled, through the observation of plotted onto the control strips (12) and (13) zero signs (14) and the signs of the accepted deviation (15) of mutual vertical placement of upper surfaces of keel blocks or supports (5) of both floating docks (1) and (2), done with cameras (16), from which the picture of placement of signs on the control strips is transmitted onto the monitors (17) of both docks' (1) and (2) valve houses (18), and dependent of the need, both floating docks (1) and (2) mutual placement is corrected, through remote control from control desks in the valve houses (18) of both floating docks (1) and (2), by level of opening of the floating docks' (1) and (2) ballast systems.
Description:
Method of docking of double-hull floating devices The object of the present invention is the method of docking of double-hull floating devices, especially double-hull ships, with the aim to emerge them over the water level for checking or maintenance/repair work.

There are known the methods of docking of double-hull ships or double-hull floating devices, consisting in double-hull ship or floating double-hull off-shore device brought into proper size docks, both dry and floating. The known method characterizes of having both hulls of the ship or off-shore device founded in one dock.'- From the description of the US patent 6,179, 525 B1 a floating dock is known consisting of sections coupled by properly configured wedge- connecting members. Wedge members have humps as well as formed flanges. Connection points with mapped floating part surface are covered by elastic inserts in the way, that formed surfaces always have a mutual connection with mounted floating dock section. That dock can be assembled from sections as well on its length as the width of the established dock.

From the description of the US patent 6, 073, 572 a floating dock is known consisting of sections coupled by properly configured wedge members. That dock, with such design can be extended anyway on the length as well as on the width.

From the description of the Japan patent JP 60203-591 the method of off-shore and other floating devices docking is known.

The method is based on stage docking of off-shore type devices. Part of the off-shore type device is founded on the wharf and the other part is docked in the floating dock. Proper vertical placement of the off- shore type device is provided by high pressure hydraulic system. That system is mounted onto the dock construction bottom. The contact of the founded docked device with the dock bottom is made through the hydraulic system. During emerging of the dock, the hydraulic system placed on the bottom of the deck results in levelling up the position of the off-shore type device part being docked.

From the description of the Japan patent JP 3235794 the method of heavy floating devices docking is known. In order to lessen the docked device weight pressure, there are some decks in the dock, which are divided from each other by spring buffering mechanisms.

Caissons unload particular decks in order to obtain stage unloading of the flowing out dock. Between the decks, into the chambers placed between them, water is injected. In the submerged dock water is injected into proper chambers in order to reduce the dock with brink into heavy objects floating on the surface.

The object of the present invention method of docking of double-hull floating devices, especially double-hull ships, is characterised in that the floating docks are situated approximately parallel and with proper distance between, from which favourably at least one is founded on dolphins or mooring sinkers, then they are laterally coupled together with stem and bow articulated connectors mounted into the side walls of floating dock and coupled longitudinally by springs, and then after submersion onto the required depth of both coupled together floating docks, the docked double-hull ship is brought into, in the way that on of the hulls is on the keel blocks and/or the supports in one of the floating docks, and the other hull in the second floating dock and then at the same time emerge both coupled floating docks emerge with the founded double-hull ship.

Parallel emerging of the floating docks, with the application of independent ballast systems of both docks, is carried out by maintaining their mutual location in the way that the upper edges of keel blocks and/or supports on both docks, of which placing on one plane is'represented by zero signs-mounted to side wails-oil-the floating dock, separate control strips, mounted on the bow and stern observation posts, on the platforms and switched over between the side walls of the floating docks, are placed in such a way that the distance between the upper surfaces of keel blocks and/or supports on both docks does not exceed acceptable displacements mapped on the control strips by accepted deviation signs.

While docking the position of the upper edges planes of the keel blocks and/or supports of both floating docks is continually controlled, through the observation of plotted onto the control strips zero signs and the signs of the accepted deviation of mutual vertical placement of upper surfaces of keel blocks and/or supports of both floating docks done with the cameras, from which the picture of the placement of signs on the control strips is transmitted onto the monitors of both floating docks'valve houses, and dependent of the need, both floating docks mutual placement is corrected, through remote control from control desks in the valve houses of both floating docks, by level of opening of both of the floating docks'ballast systems.

The object of the present invention is presented on the figure, where fig. 1 presents I-bar in the front view with flanges from full round timbers, fig. 2 presents 1-bar in the front view with flanges from full round timbers two parallel to each other planes. Fig. 3 presents I-bar in the front view with flanges from full round timbers with one plane in upper flange and two planes in lower flange, fig. 4 presents 1-bar in the front view with upper flange from full. round timber with one plane and halved round timber with one plane in lower flange.

In practice the method of docking of double-hull ships, characterises of floating docks 1 and 2 which are situated approximately parallel in the proper distance from each other, from which favourably at least one is founded on dolphins or mooring sinkers then laterally coupled together with the stern articulated connector 6 and bow articulated connector 7 mounted into the side walls 9 of the floating docks 1 and 2 and coupled longitudinally together by springs 8, then, after submersion onto required depth of both coupled floating docks 1 and 2, a docked double-hull ship is introduced into, in such a way that one of the hulls 3 is on the keel blocks or supports 5 in one of floating docks 1, and second hull 4 is in the second floating dock 2, after that both coupled together floating docks 1 and 2 are emerged with docked double-hull ship.

While docking the position of the upper edges planes of the keel blocks and/or supports 5 of both floating docks 1 and 2 is continually controlled, through the observation of plotted onto the control strips 12 and 13 zero signs 14 and the signs of the accepted deviation 15 of mutual vertical placement of upper surfaces of keel blocks or supports 5 of both floating docks 1 and 2, done with cameras 16, from which the picture of placement of signs on the control strips is transmitted onto the monitors 17 of both floating docks'1 and 2 valve houses 18, and dependent of the need, both floating docks 1 and 2 mutual placement is corrected, through remote control from the control desks in the valve houses 18 of both floating docks 1 and 2, by level of opening of the floating docks'1 and 2 ballast systems.

Application of the present invention permits utilization of the existing docks for docking double-hull ships or off-shore devices characterised by significant hulls spacing, which are unable to fit into ie existing singular docks. According to the invention the presented method makes is possible to dock two similar hulls in two independent docks suitably coupled together. Docking of two docks simultaneously with preservation of the stability of founded on them double-hull device requires the precise method presented in the present invention.
