Abstract:
This disclosure relates to a method for driving an AC type plasma display panel. According to this disclosure, it is possible to prevent a driving circuit of an AC type plasma display panel from being damaged and to improve the safety thereof at initial power on time of the AC type plasma display panel in such a manner that a control signal CYSUSL for turning on a ground switching element of a scan electrode driving circuit is turned on just after a time point when a power supply circuit turns on a voltage of 5 V and before a time point when the power supply circuit turns on a sustain voltage Vsus.
