Abstract:
A method for driving a display panel, comprising: in an nth scanning period, a pixel unit (11) in row i and column x receives data signals, and at least two sub-pixels (12) in different colors in the pixel unit (11) in row i and column x receive the data signals in a first order (S11); and in an (n+1)th scanning period, a pixel unit (11) in row j and column x receives data signals, and at least two sub-pixels (12) in different colors in the pixel unit (11) in row j and column x receive the data signals in a second order (S12). The color of the last one of the sub-pixels (12) for receiving the data signals in the first order is the same as the color of the first one of the sub-pixels (12) for receiving the data signals in the second order, and the data signal received by the last one of the sub-pixels (12) for receiving the data signals in the first order is the same as the data signal received by the first one of the sub-pixels (12) for receiving the data signals in the second order. The method for driving a display panel can reduce the power consumption of a display panel.
