Abstract:
Before a pointer is moved from an indication value A1 currently determined to a first desired value B, the first desired value B is compared with a second desired value C. It is judged whether or not the second desired value C is larger than the first desired value B. If it is, an indication characteristic that the indication value A1 is increased to a value equal to or larger than the first desired value B is given by a predetermined function; if not, an indication characteristic that the indication value A1 is decreased to a value equal to or smaller than the first desired value B is given by a predetermined function. Thus, the pointer is smoothly moved to an indication value p conforming to the indication characteristic and determined in an output updating unit cycle.
