Title:
METHOD FOR EFFICIENTLY REMOVING OR RECOVERING EXTRACTABLE COMPONENTS FROM BIOMASS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/116180
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for simultaneously extracting water soluble components and oil soluble components from biomass by using water and then simply recovering or removing the components with minimal loss of biomass, and an apparatus for implementing the method. The present invention can increase the conversion efficiency of a production process by enabling extractable components of biomass such as oil soluble components and proteins to be rapidly recovered or removed in advance; reduce the production cost through pre-removal of materials which may act as impurities in a final product; and efficiently extract, recover and concentrate oil soluble materials without using expensive organic solvents such as ethyl ether and nucleic acid.
