Abstract:
Provided is a method for efficiently separating cobalt/nickel magnesium manganese from crude cobalt/nickel salt raw material. Using crude cobalt/nickel salt as a raw material, a catalyst is added after slurrying; a high-temperature and high-pressure hydrogen reduction process is used, that is, key points such as pH, catalyst, hydrogen partial pressure, temperature, reaction time, and the like are controlled; after the reaction is completed, initial separation of cobalt/nickel magnesium manganese is achieved by means of re-sorting; the obtained light manganese slag is subjected to magnetic separation to recover entrained fine-grained cobalt/nickel powder and use same as a catalyst; the obtained crude cobalt/nickel powder is acid leached to prepare a cobalt/nickel leachate; P204 is used to extract and remove impurities, then magnesium is removed via resin to yield a magnesium-free cobalt/nickel solution, or, upon further extraction and removal of impurities and resin deep removal of magnesium, a high-purity cobalt/nickel product solution is obtained. The magnesium removal rate of the method of the present invention can reach 99% or higher, the manganese removal rate can reach 99% or higher, and the invention has the features of a simple process, low cost, short process flow, and high magnesium and manganese removal rates.
