Abstract:
A method of electrically heating a composite tube structure including a structure consisting of two main tubes and a branch tube coupling the main tubes. Possible occurrence in some portions of the branch tube of excess or deficiency of electrical heating is prevented. A method of electrically heating a composite tube structure made of platinum or a platinum alloy including a structure consisting of first and second main tubes and a branch tube coupling the first and second main tubes, wherein a path for an electric current to the branch tube is divided into both a first electric current path connecting the first main tube and the branch tube and a second electric current path connecting the branch tube and the second main tube, and wherein conduction control of the first and second electric current paths is independently performed.
