Abstract:
An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a display; a memory in which an application for editing an image is stored; and a processor for outputting the image to the display through the application, wherein the processor may be configured to output the image, a first guide indicating an area to be cropped in the image, and a preview corresponding to the first guide to the display in a first mode of the application, output the image modified according to a second mode to the display, in response to a user input which changes the first mode to the second mode, and output a second guide corresponding to the second mode to the display, to output the preview corresponding to the first guide. In addition, various embodiments understood through the specification are possible.
