Abstract:
A method for encoding a multi-channel signal and an encoder, the method comprising: acquiring the current frame containing a multi-channel signal (510); determining characteristic information according to the multi-channel signal (520), the characteristic information comprising at least one of the frame type and signal type of the current frame, the frame type comprising a speech frame and/ora non-speech frame, the signal type comprising unvoiced sound and/or voiced sound; determining an ITD parameter of the current frame according to the characteristic information (530); and encoding the ITD parameter (540). The present invention can improve the accuracy of ITD parameter extraction.
