Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for ensuring the compulsory recycling of diesel particulate filters. According to the present invention, the method for ensuring the compulsory recycling of diesel particulate filters (DPF) includes the steps of: a compulsory recycling determination step (S10) of determining whether there is a recycling signal indicating that the compulsory recycling of the DPF must be performed; a relay maintaining step (S20) wherein a vehicle control unit (VCU) turns the relay on in order to continuously provide power to the engine and proceed to the next step when the recycling signal from the compulsory recycling determination step (S10) is present; a relay idling step (S30) in which the relay is maintained in the off state by the VCU in order to proceed to the next step when there is no recycling signal present in the compulsory recycling determination step (S10); a key off determination step (S40) of determining whether a key (20) is in the off position after the relay maintaining step (S20) and the relay idling step (S30), and returning to the compulsory recycling determination step (S10) when the key (20) is in the on position; and a termination step (S100) in which, when the key (20) is in the off position in the key off determination step (S40), the relay is maintained in the on state until the compulsory recycling is finished and the key is turned off, thus terminating the process.
