Abstract:
Provided are a method for enzymatic synthesis of a sialic acid analogue: with sialic acid aldolase as a catalyst, subjecting a substrate containing an aldehyde group to a condensation reaction with a substrate containing a carbonyl group, to obtain a sialic acid analogue. The synthesized sialic acid analogue can be used as a potential neuraminidase inhibitor, or as a template of the potential neuraminidase inhibitor.
