Abstract:
This invention publishes a method, equipment and system for low density parity check
(LDPC) coding and decoding. The coding method includes such steps: construct the
check matrix of every layer of layered LDPC code, and use the constructed layered LDPC
code as the error correcting code; the check matrix of the layer-1 of the layered LDPC
code is used for the layer-1 coding of data when the data transmitter initially transmits
the data; transmit the layer-1 coded data; the check matrix of the layer-n of the
layered LDPC code is used for the layer-n coding of data when the data transmitter transmits
the no. n-1 times retransmission data; transmit the layer-n coded data. The number
n is an integer no less than 2. The application of this invention can reduce the
system cost, decrease the decoding delay, improve the decoding performance
and be suitable for high-speed data businesses.
