Abstract:
The embodiments of the invention provide a method of establishing an interface connection, and an interface chip. The method is applicable to the interface chip. The method comprises: receiving, via an interface, a negotiation signal transmitted by an opposite terminal; determining, according to the negotiation signal, a data transmission rate used by the interface and the opposite terminal; determining, according to the data transmission rate, an interface type of the interface to be configured, and configuring the interface to be the interface type; and establishing a connection between the interface and the opposite terminal. The invention is utilized to automatically configure, according to a type of a signal transmitted by an opposite terminal, an interface type of a smart interface, without performing manual configuration.
