Title:
METHOD FOR EVACUATING PERSONS FROM HIGHLY POPULATED OBJECTS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/097263
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The inventive method for evacuating persons from highly populated objects (buildings, constructions, aircrafts, ships, trains and buses) consists in ejecting people-carrying platforms (1) from said objects and after ejection, in quickly inflating gas-tight shells (4), i.e. large safety bags, around said platforms, thereby securely protecting people carrying platforms on all sides thereof by closely adjacent safety bags and the bottom of the platform (1). The system of large sized inflating gas-tight shells produces a braking parachute effect and freely falls on the earth far from transport means in distress or an emergency building. The highly populated objects are embodied in such a way that it is possible to eject the platform (1) from said objects. For example, the aircraft fuselage is provided with an openable top part in such a way the crew and passenger-carrying platforms (1) are ejected through the thus obtainable openings. The use of said invention for air transport provides a high-safety level for the passengers and the crew of the aircraft and excludes the unauthorised approach of said aircraft to strategic locations.
