Abstract:
Provided is a method of evaluating a fatigue level of a constituent component of a marine diesel engine. The method comprises: generating, with respect to a constituent component, at least two of an operation load evaluation point relating to an operation load of a marine diesel engine, an operation load variation evaluation point relating to variation of the operation load of the marine diesel engine, an operation cycle evaluation point relating to an operation cycle of the marine diesel engine, a fuel characteristic evaluation point relating to the fuel characteristic of the marine diesel engine, a combustibility evaluation point relating to the combustibility of the fuel, and an exhaust gas temperature evaluation point relating to the temperature of exhaust gas from the marine diesel engine; calculating a total evaluation point of the fatigue level of the constituent component by adding up the at least two evaluation points that have been generated; and evaluating the fatigue level of the constituent component on the basis of the total evaluation point.
