Abstract:
Provided is a method for evaluating a spectacle lens in which a fine projection is formed on the object-side surface thereof. A method for evaluating the manufacturing precision of a spectacle lens in which a fine projection protruding from an object-side convex surface of the spectacle lens is formed on the convex surface, the method including a shape measurement step (step 105) for measuring the shape of a convex surface of a spectacle lens, an real-virtual model setting step (step 109) for setting an real-virtual model including an eyeball model and a spectacle lens model based on the measured shape, an actual-machine convergence position specifying step (step 111) for performing ray trace calculation with respect to the real-virtual model and specifying a real convergence position at which light rays converge in front of a retina of the eyeball model, and an evaluation step (step 113) for evaluating the manufacturing precision of the spectacle lens on the basis of the real convergence position.
