Title:
METHOD FOR EVALUATING WATER QUALITY OF WATER TO BE TREATED, QUANTIFYING METHOD, AND WATER TREATMENT METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/114226
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention is a method for evaluating water quality, for evaluating the degree of contamination imparted to a separation membrane by water to be treated that is supplied to a membrane separation device having the separation membrane, the method for evaluating water quality characterized in that the degree of contamination is caused by an organic compound included in the water to be treated, and the method includes a water passing step for passing the water to be treated through a microfiltration membrane and trapping at least a portion of the organic compound in the microfiltration membrane, an analysis step for analyzing the microfiltration membrane by infrared spectroscopy after passage of the water to be treated and obtaining an infrared absorption spectrum, and an evaluation step for evaluating the degree of contamination on the basis of the area or height of at least one peak in the infrared absorption spectrum obtained in the analysis step.
