Title:
METHOD FOR EXAMINING AT LEAST ONE RISK SELECTED FROM GROUP CONSISTING OF SYMPTOM EXPRESSION RISK, AGGRAVATION RISK, COMPLICATION ONSET RISK, AND LONG-TERM HOSPITALIZATION RISK WHEN AFFLICTED WITH COVID-19, EXAMINATION DEVICE, AND EXAMINATION PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/181572
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An examination method according to the present embodiment measures at least one type of data among gene composition data for intestinal microbiota, blood metabolite data, and bacteria composition data for intestinal microbiota in a biological sample collected from a subject. At least one of the gene composition data for intestinal microbiota and the blood metabolite data is used to examine at least one risk selected from the group consisting of the symptom expression risk, the aggravation risk, the complication onset risk, and the long-term hospitalization risk when afflicted with COVID-19, and the bacteria composition data for intestinal microbiota is used to examine at least one risk selected from the group consisting of the symptom expression risk, the complication onset risk, and the long-term hospitalization risk when afflicted with COVID-19.
