Title:
METHOD FOR EXAMINING BIOLOGICAL SOLUTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/059401
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for examining a biological solution, the method enabling easy, accurate, yet also inexpensive implementation of quantitative examination of a variety of minerals and of methionine, which is an essential amino acid, contained in the biological solution. In the present invention, an X-ray fluorescence analysis device is used to measure the content ratio of a mineral contained in a subject-derived biological solution that can be collected by the subject, relative to methionine-derived sulfur contained in the biological solution. The measured content ratio and a calibration curve created by running X-ray fluorescence analysis using a standard solution of sulfur and the mineral are used to calculate the contained amount of sulfur and the mineral contained in the biological solution. The contained amount of methionine contained in the biological solution is calculated on the basis of the calculated contained amount of sulfur.
