Abstract:
Provided are a novel biomarker for rheumatoid arthritis and a method for utilizing the same. This method for examining rheumatoid arthritis includes a step for detecting at least one biomarker selected from the group consisting of (1) Prevotella denticola, Gardnerella vaginalis, Porphyromonas somerae, Prevotella marshii, Prevotella disiens, Bacteroides sartorii, Prevotella corporis, Prevotella amnii, and BN744_01293 gene in a sample containing enteric bacteria, collected from a test subject.
