Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for extracting bromine from seawater by vacuum distillation, the method comprising the steps of: heating bromine-containing concentrated brine, distilling, adding chlorine to a high gravity tower, separating bromine, and recycling waste gas. The method comprises: heating the bromine-containing concentrated brine having a salt concentration of 20-21%, controlling a temperature to between 75-85°C, using a high gravity distillation tower to perform distillation, controlling a distillation temperature to between 88-92°C; water vapor containing bromine and residual chlorine passes through a cooling heat-exchanger and separator to obtain crude bromine through separation, and the crude bromine is to be made into a finished product, and waste gas is recycled. The process method has a high bromine extraction efficiency and high bromine extraction purity, consumes little energy, and is safe and environmentally friendly.
