Abstract:
The present invention relates to a corn silk extract and a preparation method therefor and, more specifically, to a method for extracting a high yield of active materials containing corn silk-derived maysin, capable of maximizing the extraction of maysin, which is present in corn silk, increases antioxidant activity in a living body, and has a neuronal antiapoptotic effect caused by antioxidative stress, and simultaneously extracting other additional active materials improving antioxidant activity, and minimizing destruction and transformation of the active materials to be extracted during the extraction of the active materials, compared with existing hydrothermal extraction methods.
