Abstract:
A method for extracting and separating zirconium and hafnium from a nitric acid medium, mainly comprising: extracting an acid feed liquid of a zirconium compound by means of a synergic extraction system consisting of DIBK and a phosphonic acid extracting agent; and putting zirconium into an aqueous phase, and putting hafnium into an organic phase to implement separation. The entire process requires no toxic substance.
