Abstract:

A method for filling a mixed refrigerant, characterized in that, in using as the refrigerant a nonazeotropic mixture comprising 23 to 27 % by weight of difluoromethane, 13 to 17 % by weight of pentafluoroethane, and 58 to 62 % by weight of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane, a nonazeotropic mixture contained in a container on the feed side and comprising 25.5 to 26.0 % by weight of difluoromethane, 15.5 to 16.0 % by weight of pentafluoroethane, and 58.0 to 59.0 % by weight of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane is withdrawn from a liquid phase in the container on the feed side and transferred and filled into a container on the receiving side. According to this method, a change in composition occurring in transferring and filling a nonazeotropic mixed refrigerant comprising difluoromethane, pentafluoroethane and 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane in the container on the feed side into an air conditioner or the like can be allowed to fall within an acceptable range in terms of the performance of the refrigerant.
