METHOD FOR FILTERING WATER TO BE TREATED

Disclosed is a method for filtering water to be treated, wherein air is jetted from diffusion units during filter treatment of water to be treated using a membrane unit; the aforementioned filter treatment is intermittent filter treatment; the aforementioned membrane unit is provided with at least two separation membrane modules; the aforementioned separation membrane modules are plate-shaped and the membrane surfaces lie in the vertical direction; at least two of the aforementioned diffusion units are disposed below the aforementioned membrane unit; units having at least one diffusion tube are used as the aforementioned diffusion units; in the jetting of air from the aforementioned diffusion units, for every set diffusion time (t1), the diffusion unit that jets air is switched, and air is jetted from only one of the diffusion units; and the aforementioned diffusion time (t1) is at least 90 seconds and no more than 300 seconds.
