Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fitting method according to which a soft contact lens can be easily fitted without using an implement or a similar aid, to provide a contact lens solution that can be used in such a fitting method, and to provide a soft contact lens package. This invention is a method for fitting a soft contact lens, the method having: a shrinking step of causing a soft contact lens to shrink by bringing a soft contact lens solution and the soft contact lens into contact with each other, the contact lens solution used being capable of causing a soft contact lens to shrink from an equilibrium state in physiological saline; and a fitting step of fitting the shrunk soft contact lens onto an eye. In this method, the size of the soft contact lens recovers after the fitting step.
